Smart School Council
Our School Council is a member of Smart School Council.

We hold half termly Class meetings using the class meeting tool. In this way all children in our school from Year 1 to Year 6 get the opportunity to contribute to the school council. We have created 4 action teams:
- Litter around and near our school
- Road Safety near our school
- Healthy Living
- Pupil Newsletter
We have a school council notice board to show how we are progressing with our action teams.

What did the children tell us?
The children told us in a pupil survey at the end of the summer term 2021 that they wanted more choice in equipment to play with at playtimes.
What did we do?
We carried out a survey to find out the most popular play equipment. We created zones so that we could use the play equipment safely. Play Leaders were chosen to support the all children within playing within the zones.
