Some Year five pupils had such a wonderful time at the interfaith day today! They learnt all about different religions and their similarities with love, charity and perseverance. There was even bottle flipping! A huge thank you to The Olive School for hosting us!
Remembrance
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old, Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
R.E. Conference and the Knife Angel
Two ambassadors for the school had a wonderful time at the R.E pupil conference at Blackburn Cathedral! They learnt all about what the Bible says about angels, and even managed to see The Knife Angel. They both looked at the term justice and what it meant and thoroughly enjoyed an activity where they were able to create their own angel that fought against any injustice in the world. It was a great day!
